San Francisco Welcomes the World’s Leading Cybersecurity Event

RSAC™ 2025 Conference Returns to Moscone Center from April 28 to May 1 with Innovation, Expansion, and Unprecedented Investment

San Francisco, CA (April 28, 2025) – RSAC 2025 Conference, the world's largest and most influential cybersecurity event, will return to Moscone Center from April 28 to May 1. With more than 40,000 attendees expected from over 130 countries, this flagship event reinforces San Francisco's position as a global hub for technology, innovation, and cybersecurity. It is projected to exceed 2024’s $62.8 million in local economic impact.

Having been held in the Bay Area for 34 years, primarily in San Francisco, RSAC 2025 Conference will introduce a significantly expanded campus, incorporating the nearby Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to provide additional space for dynamic sessions, collaborative learning and enhanced networking opportunities.

"RSAC is excited to not only return to San Francisco but expand our campus and showcase more of the city as we provide our attendees the opportunity for more programs, innovation, and networking opportunities,” said Linda Gray Martin, Senior Vice President, RSAC Conference. “The city is the ideal setting to connect the world's leading cybersecurity minds with an international airport serving many destinations around the globe, multiple hotel options, and a vibrant culinary scene.”

This year marks a milestone for one of the Conference's most anticipated events: the RSAC™ Innovation Sandbox contest. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the contest will offer an unprecedented opportunity. Each of the Top 10 Finalists will receive a $5 million investment via a new funding initiative backed by Crosspoint Capital Partners.

This bold move is designed to accelerate the next wave of cybersecurity breakthroughs, reinforcing the Conference's legacy as a launchpad for emerging companies. Since its inception, Innovation Sandbox alumni have raised over $16.4 billion in funding and participated in more than 90 acquisitions.

RSAC Conference will also debut the new RSAC™ Membership Platform, a year-round resource hub for cybersecurity professionals worldwide. With features including secure messaging, AI tools, exclusive content, and a professional community forum, the platform offers free and premium tiers accessible via desktop and mobile.

In 2024, the conference hosted 42,000 attendees, delivered 425 sessions and 33 keynote presentations, and welcomed over 600 exhibiting companies. This year is expected to surpass those figures, further boosting the city's economic vibrancy.

“San Francisco is proud to attract the world’s top conferences, bringing global attention to our city’s strengths in innovation and industry,” said Mayor Daniel Lurie. “RSAC is a prime example—bringing together leading cybersecurity minds and breakthrough technologies from around the world to collaborate right here in San Francisco. We’re committed to welcoming even more premier events to drive economic growth and showcase everything our city has to offer.”

San Francisco Travel Association President and CEO Anna Marie Presutti said, “The return of RSAC Conference is a testament to San Francisco's global appeal as a hub for technology and innovation and is a significant contributor to our local economy. We are excited to welcome attendees from around the world and are proud to partner with RSAC to help build a safer and more connected future.”

Large-scale events like RSAC Conference are essential to connecting San Francisco's economic and innovation ecosystem to the world, driving both industry growth and local investment. With 20% of attendees arriving internationally, San Francisco's world-class infrastructure, including direct flights through San Francisco International Airport, is vital in connecting the global cybersecurity community.
