AVID Summer Institute 2023
Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55, a Hilton Hotel

SUMMER LEARNING STARTS HERE Whether you are a preK–12 educator, site leader, counselor, or instructional coach, AVID Summer Institutes provide solutions for any classroom context: in-person, blended, and virtual.
INSPIRATION
There’s nothing quite like the energy and excitement of a Summer Institute General Session! You’ll hear from AVID leaders and alumni, with incredible stories of educator and student agency, and leave feeling recharged and motivated.
NETWORKING
More than 400,000 educators have already participated in Summer Institute, and most describe the experience as “finding their people” or “coming home to family.” At Summer Institute, you’ll be surrounded by passionate, engaged educators and district leaders who want to bring out the best in their students and communities.
TEAM TIME
We know that Site Teams often attend Summer Institute together. That’s why we build time into the schedule for your Site Team to meet and apply your new resources and learnings. Your Site Team will leave the three-day experience feeling rejuvenated, excited, and ready to tackle the new school year.
FUN!
Of course, AVID events aren’t AVID events without the music, the dancing, the laughter, and the JOY that our community brings to this work. Whether you’re grabbing coffee with a new friend at the hotel or meeting coworkers for an optional pre-session, you’ll have fun doing it with your AVID family.
